Free representation
Since April 1999, we have represented over 250 people at
disability benefit tribunals, with only 20% being unsuccessful. Our caseworkers
are therefore very experienced at guiding someone through the appeals process
following the rejection of a claim or the loss of a benefit payment. This
process may include some or all of the following:
- Meeting the client and explaining their options;
- Acquire medical evidence for a review of the case;
- Request a review;
- Request an independent tribunal (complete a GL24 form);
- Acquire medical evidence for the tribunal;
- Assess the tribunal submission;
- Write a submission to the tribunal;
- Pre-tribunal meeting with the client to ensure they are fully informed;
- Represent the client at the tribunal.
